日本・ブラジル（伯）間にビザ(査証）が未だ必要な現状を嘆きて詠める

１・　日伯の縁（えにし）移民の百歳(ももとせ）ぞ　されど未だに要ビザ悲しや

A century old knot between Brazil and Japan since the first Japanese emigrated to Brazil.

Yet, required are visas for both peoples to visit each other    Such a pity!

２・　日伯には必要なれど　　査免国(査証免除国）　既にそれぞれ六十余有り

          Visas are required between Japan and Brazil. 

         Though each already allows ｍore than sixty other countries without a visa.

３・　お互いの民をどこまで信じるか　ビザの在りよう　基本の尺度

　How far do two peoples trust each other?  Visa status is the  basic measure of this trust.

４・　鎖国より解き放たれて世紀半　　「合わせ」を脱して　頼もし外務を 

  　A century and a half gone since Japan freed itself from its isolation.

Let us be proactive in foreign affairs rather than waiting for others' actions.
